After spending five years in a senior sales capacity with an international company overseas, Roy changed careers and joined one of Canada's largest banks in a mortgage sales capacity. In 1998, Roy joined First Provincial Mortgages which ultimately became Mortgage Intelligence, one of Canada's largest mortgage brokerage firms. Realizing that big is not better, in 2001, Roy started Assured Mortgage Services with a few other high producing independent agents.
