Fixed Rate Mortgages Increase

This week we saw fixed rate mortgages increase by up to 0.25% - which is the first time in 6 months that we have seen major banks increase their mortgage rates. This recent rise in rates is due to a spike in U.S. bond yields which ultimately determines the rate of fixed-rate mortgages.
