Interest Rate increase declared by Bank of Canada

No surprises today as the Bank of Canada declared that the low interest rate environment will be coming to an end. However, with consumer confidence questionable and inflation at a standstill, coupled with a strong Canadian Dollar, the Bank of Canada is at an interesting point in time. Look for a few increases to keep us on our toes but a long pause at the end of this year.
