The property taxes here were crazy and one of the driving forces behind changing to a multi residential/commercial use. I have been aggressively pursuing the tax reduction with MPAC, we have received some feedback but are still awaiting and real answers. We are currently taxed at 4.05% of the value and with this residential mortgage it should change to 0.85%, reducing our monthly payment from $850.00 to around $250.00. Between the old mortgage rate and tax we were getting smoked, you have helped me save a lot of monthly overhead with our new mortgage and interest rate and it meant the difference.
